The thing about newgrounds (and youtube, and the rest of the internet except for deviantart) is that there will always be people who's lives are devoted to making you feel bad. The key to surviving here is to realize this and not let it phase you. I thought your animation was cute and funny, and you should grace us with more. the fact that you made it to the front page is a high honor, and the fact that half of the world has no life and is bitter about it should be no reason to quit.
Don't let those assholes get you down. Making a flash is hard work; making a good flash is even harder. You've made good flashes, from what I've seen. Some people, to answer your question, are mean for the sake of it. Don't listen to them. As long as the majority give your work good reviews, and as long as you're proud of your work, that should give you solace.

Frontpage and a highscore are not about popularity (at least not all the time), and even if they are there is some glimmer of quality in even the worst frontpage'd and 4+ animations and games. The fact is that the world culture has to start to accommodate anonymity, because unless you ignore the faceless they will control you, but I am faceless too... I'm right so ignore the others.
So hopefully this is just a reaction, because newgrounds always needs quality creators, but I must say you have mistaken one thing, sensitivity does not contradict maturity, just relax.

One flash, yes. You may not have noticed...I did that flash for a very close friend of mine. Last time I checked, people don't consider that kind of thing bad.
And you cannot state a show is 'bad', as it's a matter of personal preference. You could say 'I think that show's bad'.

Personaly I think you've acheived something very impressive. Newgrounds is a place that thrives on violence, gore, Sex, and harsh language. The fact that you are capable of getting a flash on the front page of a site like this with a cartoon that's brightly colored with no blood or swears is quite an achievement.
The internet will always have trolls. These people either have nothing better to do other than start fights or they just have a really stupid sense of humor. They are damaged and pointless lifeforms. You can't let them dictate what you do or you'll never get anywhere.

If I were you I would careless about what people from newgrounds think of my work. Mainly because its a cesspool of 12 year olds who like shitty flash animation like Brawl Taunts. Or a love for shitty and dated internet memes. Who the fuck cares about what a bunch of kids think? You have a talent that most of them dont and even if they did they would prolly waste it on some stupid shit thats been done before.
Its just depressing to see this site go so low from when I first started on newgrounds when I was little. When originality was something really welcomed and praised. I remember the days of Jerry Jackson, Retarded Animal babys, Foamy, Madness, etc. Even all the old shitty dating sims. Now all it is shit memes and video game paordys. Yes much originality does still exist but it does not have as much of a presence as it used too.
Point: Its a bunch of fucking 12 year olds who fucking cares. Their opinion matters as much as their exsistence in this world. None.

I agree with you, there's a wide margin of people in Newgrounds, from the hatefull, angry trolls which 97% have never summited a flash, art or anything related in their entire life yet act agressively torward others out of envy or just random anger; and theres the people who are objective in their reviews and can appreciate talent. But such is the reality on the Faceless world that is the Internet. Don't mind the (pardon my expression) bunch of jackasses that inhavit this site of extremes, just look for those who have something valuable to say. The truth is that your flash animations are very creative and you have some very interestings OC's plus your voice acting is quite entretaining and you did a great job in bringing your characters to life. well, those are my 2 cents, thank you for your animations and don't loose your confidence due to the meaningless comentaries of the faceless and ignorant Trolls. Keep the great work and really hope that you continue on summiting stuff into newgrounds now and then.

If there is one comment to help you regain your confidence, or inspiration perhaps, make it this one. I saw some of your animations you've submitted, and sure they're a little rough, but I have noticed that they become progressively better. And as far as criticism goes, just remember that these are your creations, you know exactly how they went together, and exactly what can be improved upon; not these puberty-ridden morons that lack the ability and talent to even succeed at completely simple tasks. Just believe in what you're capable of and nothing else.

I personnaly don't like furry type things, but I can see effort went into your work, so kudos to u.
I'm not a fan of furries either, but good thing Jessi and Riley aren't furries! I still stand behind my decision to give them tails and animal ears to convey emotions, and to set them a little bit apart from normal human charatcers.

I love your animations and I find it quite funny. Don't mind the trolls, most of them are non regulars and most them never even contributed anything. At least you can drwa and animate better than those trolls. And you got 4.09 out of 5 , that's a pretty high score. So just ignore the trolls and keep animating, you have my full support.
I only listen to the haters who know what they're talking about (have seen enough on the site to actually know what is good/bad) and at the very least have a display picture lol!

Hey, I know how that feels. I made ONE movie and posted here...and deleted it from the fact that every single comment was about how much of a shitfest it was.
