Usually I woudn't say too much about my private life, but I wanted to let those who care why I've been absent, and will possibly continue to be.
I have glandular fever, and it's attacked my liver and kidneys something fierce. I can't even describe how much pain I'm in. I've had several blood tests and liver ultrasounds, and it doesn't look too good...
So, if worst comes to worst...enjoy your life while you have it, you never know when it will be ripped so cruelly from you.

Sorry to hear that, I've been waiting for a heart surgery for around 2 years and I could snap any minute and buh bye, but you can't give up or be down all the time, that's just the worse thing you can do for your health.
So don't give up, stay strong, regardless of how dire it seems. YOU enjoy your life, and no bitchin about it.
You're only in pain because you think you are. Every day you must tell yourself that you can do it, why? Because you can do it. Believe you can fight it and your body will fight it.
KEEP FIGHTING!
I am sorry to hear that. I have faith that you'll make it through this. And what Chdonga says is right. The mind is a powerful thing. If you think and believe you'll make it, you will.

I also heard that in some cases you have to take steroids...
Oh nooes!!! Don't worry, you're gonna get better, and never forget that you gotta stay positive. Your body obeys your mind; you gotta tell yourself you're gonna be okay (i've done that; it works, no joke). and never, ever forget that you have a whole bunch of ppl here @ newgrounds to support you (myself included). So go ahead, kick that glandular fever in the schwartz, and sing "Stayin' Alive"!!! and remember, never, ever give up.

Damn I stop in to see how my new favorite flash animator is doing and I see this depressing news. Well all Ican say is hang in there baby. The world would lose a glimmer of light with your loss. NEVAR GIVE UP!!!!! On an unrelated note I am listening to One Winged Angel whilst typing this and should anything happen to you it will become my theme song as I will cut a path of destruction straight to New Zealand and unleash my full wrath at losing such a talented woman so early and before her time. Please hold on and not just for our sakes, but for your own and the other people who care about you. Hold strong young one, do not let your light falter or mine and I'm sure many others darkness will be unleashed upon this world >:) But seriously I really am hoping for the best, so please stay strong.

I believe you'll be alright; I myself have gone through some of those "I actually might die" moments. They're awful, but it's always better than you think. Hang in there, I need you to continue putting flashes and art up so I can ridicule your fanbase. Feel better!

I have only but a few words, compared to the grandness of life.

I understand that your scared. The possibility of death is indeed a scary thing. But, you can't let fear beat you. If you giv in to fear, you giv in to pain, and ultimatly... death! So, you must stay strong and never giv up hope. This coming from soneone who's been through that. I have kidney failure ( which was caused by a ruptered appendex that was mis-diagnosed at the age of 2 ) so, I know what your going through. I'm 19 now, meaning I've had a few close encounters w/ death, and it scared me. But, I never gave up hope that it would turn out alright and it did! :) Plus, everytime I DID feel like giving up ( which was when I was in a depressed state ) I just thought to myself: " If I giv in to this pain and die... then I'll hurt the ones who are precious to me forever! I can't or WON'T let that happen so long as I have an once of strength left! >:( " So, as long as you have hope ( along w/ your Family, Friends, and fans/supporters here at NG like me ) you have a way of beating this thing silly. >:D I believe in you Krista
